About the role
As an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician, you will strengthen customer relationships by properly maintaining and repairing vehicles while upholding our reputation for fast, friendly service. You will diagnose mechanical issues, explain options clearly, perform agreed-upon repairs, and provide regular maintenance to keep vehicles in top condition. Your legendary customer service will ensure customers feel valued and have a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve a range of mechanical issues in customer vehicles.
- Clearly explain repair options and perform agreed-upon repairs.
- Provide regular maintenance services to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to create a positive experience.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with brake work.
- Own set of tools.
- Honest, reliable, and service-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and troubleshoot issues.
- Skill in explaining technical information in layman’s terms.
Pay
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $18/hr to $24/hr, depending on experience and certifications (not flat rate).
- Bi-weekly commissions ranging from $400 to $1,400, based on store-level Automotive Repair Net Sales.
- Potential annual compensation exceeding $100,000 through hourly pay and commissions.
- One-time bonuses of $500 for certifications earned while employed.
