Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is seeking experienced Auto Mechanics / Automotive Technicians to join our team full-time in Pittsfield, MA. This position offers a 5-day work week and the opportunity to build a career with a company that values you and promotes a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and clearly explain repair options to customers.
• Perform agreed-upon repairs and provide regular maintenance services to keep vehicles in top condition.
• Maintain a reputation for fast, friendly, and professional service.
• Strengthen customer relationships through competence, integrity, and legendary customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Current AATI or ASE certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Brake work experience.
• Own set of tools.
• Honesty, reliability, and strong time-management skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Enjoyment of troubleshooting and ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate (not flat rate) ranging between $18/hr. and $24/hr., depending on experience and certifications. Technician commissions are earned and paid out every 2 weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 based on store-level Automotive Repair Net Sales. Hourly rate compensation and commissions earned can lead to annual compensation above $100,000. One-time bonuses of $500 each are available for certifications earned while employed with the company.
