About the role

As an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician, you will maintain and repair customer vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, and provide regular maintenance services. Your role strengthens customer relationships by delivering fast, friendly service and ensuring a positive experience. You’ll troubleshoot problems, explain options clearly, and make agreed-upon repairs with competence and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a range of mechanical issues in customer vehicles.
• Perform regular maintenance services to keep vehicles in top condition.
• Clearly explain technical problems and repair options to customers.
• Maintain ACE’s reputation for fast, friendly, and professional service.
• Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Current AATI or ASE certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Brake work experience.
• Own set of tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms.
• Honest, reliable, and service-oriented with attention to detail.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate (not flat rate) ranging from $18/hr. to $24/hr., depending on experience and certifications. Technician commissions range from $400 to $1,400 every two weeks, based on store-level Automotive Repair Net Sales. Combined hourly and commission earnings can exceed $100,000 annually. One-time bonuses of $500 are awarded for certifications earned while employed.
