About the role

The Attorney will be responsible for:

  • Negotiating and drafting loan documents, ground leases, regulatory agreements, easements, and other related documents for multifamily developments.
  • Experience with first-time homebuyer programs, construction documents, and commercial leases is a plus.

  • At least six to eight years of experience in affordable housing policy matters and affordable housing development and financing transactions.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Experience with first-time homebuyer programs, construction documents, and commercial leases is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in California.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Experience with first-time homebuyer programs, construction documents, and commercial leases is a plus.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $190,000 – $225,000 plus annual performance-based bonuses. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.
