EXECUTIVE SECRETARY I
Job Description and Duties
This position is subject to budgetary approval.
Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department is accepting applications for at least (1) limited term full-time vacancy and future vacancies to the Executive Secretary classification in Central Nursing Services (CNS). May also consider an Analyst I to fill this vacancy. This position exists under the direction supervision of the Nurse Administrator. Expected work Hours may vary to meet the needs of the department. This position may be filled up to 12 months and may be extended up to 24 months with the possibility of becoming permanent
Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess the following: strong organizational skills, high level executive administrative support while performing analytical research, project coordination duties. This position serves as a liaison between leadership, departments and stakeholders, ensuring efficient operations, accurate reporting and timely completion of organizational priorities. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to solve problems and prioritize on a continual basis. Candidates should have excellent computer skills and the ability to maintain professionalism.

- The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
Working Conditions
Patton is a forensic psychiatric hospital and was established in 1890 and opened in 1893. DSH-Patton provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area. The hospital does not accept voluntary admissions.
