Executive Legal Assistant
Join a high-performing litigation team at a respected and established litigation practice. This role is ideal for a polished, proactive professional who enjoys being at the center of operations, solving problems, managing competing priorities, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
This individual will serve as a trusted partner to firm leadership, coordinating schedules, travel, communications, trial logistics, and special projects while also providing legal support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Executive Support
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling priorities
- Coordinate meetings with clients, attorneys, experts, and external stakeholders
- Arrange travel, lodging, transportation, and itineraries
- Serve as a professional liaison between leadership and internal/external contacts
- Track action items and ensure priorities stay on schedule
- Handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
- Trial Support
- Travel with attorneys and trial teams as needed
- Coordinate witness, expert, lodging, travel, and trial logistics
- Provide administrative and operational support before and during trial
- Legal Support
- Assist attorneys with scheduling, client communication, filings, document management, and case-related administrative support
- Coordinate experts, meetings, and deadlines
- Maintain organized files and records
- Team Support
- Serve as a resource for colleagues and staff
- Assist with overflow work and special projects
- Contribute to a professional, team-oriented culture
Requirements
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior Legal Assistant, Legal Assistant, or similar support role
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion
- Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently
- Comfortable supporting high-level professionals and managing shifting priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms
- Willingness to travel periodically for trials
