Executive Director Regional Lead Americas, People Rewards & Recognition

This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will partner with global leaders, HR centers of excellence, and functional stakeholders to create consistent practices across teams and regions. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a life sciences environment.

Location: South San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Co-create global rewards and recognition strategies to suit regional markets
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders using data insight for informed decision-making
• Build and mentor a high-performing team that embraces growth and collaboration
• Drive standardization and governance across the Americas through technology adoption
• Oversee budget management and ensure service delivery aligns with commitments

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in Compensation, Benefits, and Mobility
• Proven experience in leading complex and multicultural teams
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to adapt global strategies regionally
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills managing diverse stakeholders
• Potential for growth into higher People & Culture roles

Benefits

• Travel across the Americas approximately four times per year

Pay

$261,170 – $485,030 annually
