Executive Director, OmniChannel Marketing
About the Role
TGaS® Advisors is a management advisory firm focused on providing comprehensive benchmarking and advisory solutions to commercial operations leaders across the bio-pharmaceutical industry. The Executive Director, Management Advisor, Omnichannel Marketing will report into the Senior Vice President/Vice President of Marketing Enablement and support the Omnichannel Marketing solution while serving in a client-facing and project management capacity.
This role is critical for executing and delivering contracted services, expanding the value delivered to clients, engaging TGaS’ Operations team in high-quality information and analyses, and broadening awareness of the company’s offerings. The Executive Director will perform four key responsibilities: Client Benchmark engagements, Advisory Services, Business Development, and Innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead Client Benchmark Engagements and Related Projects:
- Lead Omnichannel Marketing benchmarks and client projects from initiation to final delivery, including conducting in-depth interviews with functional leaders, executives, and stakeholders.
- Capture and coordinate client-provided quantitative and qualitative information (e.g., headcount, budgets, skills, operating practices) for analysis.
- Author benchmark engagement reports summarizing client resources and capabilities relative to peers, including recommendations for operational improvements.
- Represent the Omnichannel Marketing solution collaboratively across TGaS teams during multi-solution engagements.
- Lead or participate in value-added client engagements (e.g., strategy workshops) to drive benchmark results into operational practices.
- Provide consultative guidance on Omnichannel Marketing areas: strategy, customer engagement, channel optimization, content operations, marketing technology, data/analytics, AI-enabled engagement, performance measurement, operating models, governance, and organizational design.
- Lead Advisory Services Engagements With Clients:
- Respond to client inquiries with expert guidance to inform decision-making and provide urgent, on-call support.
- Develop and execute an annual plan for value-added content (e.g., TGaS Advisors’ Virtual How (VHow) network and surveys).
- Lead semi-annual Omnichannel Marketing Client Summits, including content creation.
- Identify and implement enhancements to advisory services processes, including publishing routine "best practice deep dives."
- Business Development / Opportunity Identification:
- Identify unmet client needs addressable through TGaS Advisors’ Omnichannel Marketing or other solutions.
- Contribute to Innovation:
- Actively contribute to solution development and evolution of services to generate additional revenue.
- Document unmet client needs and innovative ideas from benchmarks and advisory services.
- Design and implement enhancements to existing solutions to increase value for clients.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop collateral for new offerings.
Requirements
- Seasoned professional with experience directing Omnichannel Marketing departments/functions in large/mid-tier pharmaceutical or emerging life sciences organizations (or equivalent consulting experience).
- Credibility and experience to advise on Marketing and Omnichannel Marketing roles, processes, systems, and best practices.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships for continuous client engagement.
- Track record of:
- Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing with extensive Omnichannel Marketing background.
- Comfort working at the highest levels of client organizations, interacting with top executives.
- Consulting, problem-solving, and organizing complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Managing effective relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Handling multiple projects and timelines simultaneously with excellent communication skills (presentations, verbal, and writing).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- High integrity and credibility as perceived by colleagues and clients.
- Change management and process analysis skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
Pay
The base salary range for this role is $172,000 - $258,000 per year, determined by factors such as skills, experience, job-related education/training, location, and internal equity. Eligibility for an annual discretionary performance bonus is also included.
