About the role

The Executive Director, Integrated Analytics – GI Franchise is a strategic role responsible for driving data-informed decision-making across the commercial organization. This role leads a team that delivers advanced analytics, primary market research, real-world data insights, and competitive intelligence to support in-line and pipeline assets, including CABOMETYX and zanzalintinib (pending FDA approval).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of analytics, market research, and competitive intelligence professionals, fostering a high-performance, insight-driven culture.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to Commercial leadership, providing proactive insights that shape brand strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of analytics priorities with business objectives.
  • Establish and evolve analytics and insights roadmap to support both near-term performance and long-term growth for CABOMETYX and zanzalintinib (pending FDA approval).
  • Primary Market Research Responsibilities:
    • Design and oversee a comprehensive primary market research strategy across HCPs, patients, and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure development and execution of robust quantitative and qualitative research programs to address key business questions.
    • Lead synthesis and triangulation of insights from primary research, secondary literature, and internal data sources.
    • Translate complex findings into clear, compelling recommendations for senior leadership.
    • Identify and implement best-in-class vendors, tools, and techniques.
    • Enforce market research best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Real World Data Analysis:
    • Leverage HER and Claims data sets for actionable insights through the analysis of Real-World Data (EHR, claims, and other datasets).
    • Support brand performance tracking, including patient flow, treatment patterns, and market dynamics.
    • Drive advanced patient finding and profiling initiatives, leveraging predictive modeling and segmentation techniques.
  • Advanced Analytics:
    • Ensure integration of multiple data sources to deliver a holistic view of business performance and opportunity.
    • Leverage secondary data (e.g., trade/distribution (SD/SP), syndicated Rx, etc...) to track and measure daily performance trends for zanzalintinib and Cabometyx GI franchise.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing mix, channel effectiveness, and customer engagement.
    • Enable precision targeting through HCP segmentation and omnichannel orchestration strategies.
  • Competitive Intelligence:
    • Lead enterprise-wide competitive intelligence strategy, delivering timely and actionable insights on competitors, market trends, and emerging threats.
    • Oversee planning and execution of major congress intelligence (e.g., ASCO, ESMO), including pre-read development, on-site coordination, and post-conference synthesis.
    • Monitor and analyze competitor earnings calls, investor communications, clinical data releases, and regulatory milestones.
    • Develop and disseminate rapid-response alerts and executive summaries highlighting commercial implications of competitive events.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to continuously enhance CI capabilities and coverage.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline and 16 years of related experience; or
  • Master’s degree in related discipline and 14 years of related experience; or
  • PhD degree in related discipline and 12 years of related experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to lead in the continuous assessment of a company’s commercial objectives and strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research methods.
  • Ability to review and process information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to identify operational weaknesses and implement corrective action/plans.
  • Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of company’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Understanding of key intelligence needs and appropriate resources (databases, medical congresses, primary/secondary research, etc.) to inform information gaps.
  • Proficiency with Office products (Excel, PPT) and database sources (e.g. clinicaltrials.gov).
