Executive Director – Abbeville, SC

The City of Abbeville Housing Authority (AHA) seeks an experienced executive director to lead and manage its programs, properties, and contracts. AHA owns and operates 129 units, consisting of elderly, family, and units for the disabled. We do not administer the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and management experience in housing or related field
• Experience managing multiple properties and contracts
• Knowledge of federal and state housing regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in housing administration or related field
• Experience with property management software
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal housing policies
