Responsibilities
- Manage the calendar for the Senior Vice President, Strategy, Portfolio, and Hubs (SPH).
- Schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, team calls, and mail.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events.
- Prepare agendas, manage meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure the SVP is well-prepared for meetings with relevant materials and information.
- Aid in the planning and execution of projects and initiatives led by the SVP.
- Track progress and provide updates on key projects and deadlines.
- Work across time zones and manage calendars effectively.
- Act as a liaison between the SVP and internal/external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key contacts and departments.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Maintain professionalism and a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
- Collaborate with all Corporate, Healthcare and R&D stakeholders in scope of the role, as well as key enabling functions like Communications, HR, Controlling, Legal.
- Maintain strong collaboration with vendors and a network of contacts to external consultants.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of professional experience supporting senior-level management
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience working across time zones (domestically and globally)
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Proactive and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Understanding of AI concepts and demonstrated curiosity to explore AI-enabled solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
- Proactive and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Understanding of AI concepts and demonstrated curiosity to explore AI-enabled solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
