About the Role

Provides support and assistance to Senior Vice President or above that ensure effective use of time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Handles a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks involving the clerical, administrative function, research, and management roles. Responsible for schedule management, office management, communication liaison, information preparation, company records management, data analysis, and representing the executive to others. Handles confidential information and communications. Full comprehension of company's operation and procedures. May also be responsible for training and supervising lower level clerical staff. Uses discretion and judgement and knowledge of organization to facilitate the executive's activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules and ensure effective use of executive’s time.
  • Handle a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks.
  • Perform clerical and administrative functions, research, and management roles.
  • Act as a communication liaison and prepare information for the executive.
  • Manage company records and perform data analysis.
  • Represent the executive to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential information and communications.
  • Train and supervise lower level clerical staff as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college or formal business school preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of secretarial or administrative experience, with 5 years of senior management or executive level experience.
  • Advanced level PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Access, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with physicians, administrators, and department heads on behalf of the EVP.
  • Typing speed of 30 WPM.

Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) certification is preferred.
