Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for department’s financial data and statistics
• Making sure the unit expenditures are monitored
• Developing and recommending department operating budget and ensuring the department operates within budget
• Cooking up housekeeping activities with other departments
• Actively communicating with administration and other hospital departments
• Planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising functions and activities of the department
• Establishing and implementing policies and procedures for departmental operations

Key Qualifications

• A four year college degree and equivalent related experience required
• Two to four years plus of housekeeping management experience at a large hospital account required
• Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data
• General business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A high Customer Service and quality attitude
• The ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Public speaking skills
