Essential Functions
- Support the planning and execution of assigned Conference events, championships, and tournaments
- Provide administrative and day-to-day support for the Events & Operations department
- Aid department leaders with special projects and initiatives
- Aid with day-to-day operations at the Big Ten Conference Center, as necessary
- Build foundational knowledge of event planning and on-site event execution within collegiate sports
- Foster a culture of inclusion to support a diverse environment
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- One year of events, operations, or facilities experience within athletics is preferred
- Ability to maintain punctual attendance, timely correspondence, and a keen eye to detail
- A passion for building a career in collegiate athletics
- Commitment to work evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours when necessary
- Commitment to an in-office work schedule
