About The Role

Smartwyre is seeking a part-time Events & Marketing Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of our North American events programme. This role will help coordinate industry conferences, customer events, webinars, partner activities, and sponsorships while ensuring a positive experience for attendees and supporting the wider Marketing team.

  • Organize and execute industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, customer events, and partner activities.
  • Manage event logistics, including registrations, attendee communications, vendor coordination, venue selection, and event materials.
  • Maintain event calendars and project plans to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide on-site or virtual event support as needed.
  • Create and schedule event-related emails, social media posts, and promotional materials.
  • Auxiliary tasks may include assisting with booth preparation, shipping branded materials, and coordinating event follow-up communications and surveys.
  • Liaise with conference organizers, vendors, and partners to coordinate event activities.
  • Support relationship management with industry associations and event providers.
  • Closely work with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth event execution.

Reporting & Administration

  • Track registrations, attendance, and basic event performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate event records, budgets, and invoices.
  • Aid in post-event reporting and identify opportunities to improve event processes and attendee experiences.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in events, marketing, administration, or project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and online business tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting events, marketing campaigns, or customer-facing activities is desirable.
  • Experience with CRM or marketing platforms is a plus but not required.
