About the role
The Hollywood Roosevelt is seeking an Events Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for managing sales and catering groups, ensuring events exceed expectations, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of event servicing, including preparing BEOs, resumes, and event documentation
- Cook up room blocks and ensure flawless communication between departments
- Act as the onsite point of contact for events, conduct site inspections, and manage function space optimization
- Participate in daily business reviews
- Build strong client relationships before, during, and after events
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hotel event planning or sales and catering experience
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence communicating with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Comfortable resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Experience with automated sales and catering systems such as Opera PMS and Opera Sales & Catering is highly preferred
