Events Data Associate

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute event attendee reports from Cvent; conduct data cleaning to ensure registration accuracy and resolve record discrepancies.
• Produce pre- and post-event overviews capturing key metrics: member status, geography, professional segmentation, and attendance trends.
• Send weekly registration tracking reports as events approach.
• Create ad hoc reports from Cvent and Salesforce supporting analytical projects, data integrations, and marketing campaigns.
• Build and maintain a data dashboard in Power BI.
• Data Management & Platform Administration:
• Enter and maintain event session data across Cvent (website, speaker management) and Attendee Hub (mobile app).
• Auxiliary tasks include assisting with event registration setup in Cvent, configuring and managing the Cvent Abstract module for call-for-proposals workflows and submission reviews, reviewing and updating Client Committee records in Salesforce, maintaining Smartsheets for data collection and committee tracking, setting up and managing session monitoring and evaluations via SurveyMonkey and Signup.
• Cover letter and resume review and update the speaker resource portal in Cvent.
• Provide support materials for committee meetings and kickoff presentations.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong data skills, including Salesforce (Lightning) report generation and record management, advanced Excel data cleaning, pivot tables, formulas, and attention to detail.
• Strong written communication, clear, professional inbox and stakeholder correspondence.
• Comfortable catching and correcting data errors (name misspellings, duplicate records, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Power BI and/or Tableau dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Smartsheets and Microsoft Forms.
• Attendee Hub (conference mobile app management).
• SurveyMonkey and Signup.
