About the Role
As a member of the Event Staff Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience, helping to build memories that last a lifetime. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the arena, including ushering, ticket scanning, concourse customer service, and greeting.
Responsibilities
- Welcome fans with a great smile and helpful attitude when gates open.
- Scan event tickets to ensure proper entry.
- Assist fans in locating their ticketed seats.
- Be alert and proactive to potential hazards and report incidents as they occur.
- Monitor your assigned area for issues and opportunities to create lasting memories for fans.
- Respond to guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist guests in ADA-accessible seating sections.
- Enforce all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests.
- Manage foot traffic flow of large crowds.
- Check guest identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases.
- Be knowledgeable about the arena’s emergency evacuation plan to safely assist guests during emergencies.
Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferred.
- Must love working with and helping people.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must maintain a positive attitude while handling difficult situations.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work most home basketball games; weekend availability is needed.
Pay
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50.
