Event Security Supervisor | Part-Time | PPL Center

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Staff during shifts as assigned by Manager.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Understands building layout, including restrooms, exits, rules, and regulations and has knowledge on all authorized credentials.
• Monitor guests and enforce rules.
• Aid in crowd management, seating discrepancies, and dispute resolution.
• Inform Security Manager of developing problems.
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents.
• Be aware of all special functions or activities occurring.
• Assist with the sign-in/out of all staff.
• Distribute uniforms and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service experience required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingualism is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly appearance and attitude.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Knowledge in surveillance, access controls, and fire alarm panels.
