Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for event security operations, coordinating directly with the client’s event management team, site security, and GardaWorld supervisors.
- Aid in pre-event briefings, ensuring all event officers understand their roles, post assignments, and escalation procedures.
- Provide leadership and direction to event officers throughout each shift, acting as a working lead who supports both the client and GardaWorld management.
- Maintain a safe, professional environment by monitoring event activity, crowd flow, and access points.
- Report and escalate incidents promptly through radio or Pixel to GSOC or on-site command.
- Represent GardaWorld professionally and provide exceptional guest relations.
- Collaborate with tech campus departments and event organizers to anticipate needs and adjust security coverage in real time.
- Complete detailed incident reports, event recaps, and post-event debriefs.
- Support logistics such as post setup, equipment checks, and roster tracking.
- Navigate campus maps and direct guests, vendors, or staff efficiently.
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
- Must possess a valid California Guard Card and 32-hour BSIS training certificates (may be completed during onboarding if needed).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- One year of security experience required; prior leadership, field training, or event lead experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills: must be articulate, professional, and approachable.
- Comfortable using technology (radio, Pixel, phone apps, and computers).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on event timing and client needs.
