Event Security Officer (Part-Time)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated PT Event Security Officer to join our team. Event Security personnel have a direct responsibility for the experience, welfare, and safety of Mortgage Matchup Center guests. By maintaining established security policies and procedures, staff will protect the arena, its assets, employees, and guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service that exceeds guests' expectations while always seeking to find opportunities to improve guest experience
- Respond quickly and accurately to an incident
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance as outlined by the Employee Handbook
- Exercise sound judgment to diffuse volatile situations
- Memorize the layout of Mortgage Matchup Center
- Be flexible with various post/work locations based on business needs
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing personality, and verbal communication skills
- Works well with others in a team environment
- High school diploma required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is recommended
Qualifications
- A strong understanding of the arena layout to provide guests assistance and clear direction including during emergency situations
- Adequate physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including but not limited to standing, walking, sitting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, and bending
- Ability to remain calm and focused at all times
- Ability to exercise sound judgment to diffuse volatile situations
- Ability to memorize the layout of Mortgage Matchup Center
- Ability to be flexible with various post/work locations based on business needs

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours are typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
