About the Opportunity
The Event Registration & Technology Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end registration process across live events, supporting event technologies to enhance attendee engagement and operational efficiency. This role contributes to delivering seamless event experiences by optimizing registration strategies, integrating event technologies, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to optimize registration strategies and event technologies
- Support complementary event technologies including mobile apps, agenda and speaker management, floor plan management, and social sharing platforms
- Manage integrations of event technologies to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Auxiliary in creating registration pages and conduct quality assurance testing
- Generate reports and analyze data to inform team decisions
- Evaluate onsite signage and registration layouts to enhance attendee and exhibitor experiences
- Travel onsite to oversee event execution
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in event registration or technology
- Knowledge of event industry technologies and online registration platforms
- Familiarity with Convention Data Services and Grip is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage new projects
- Collaborative and forward-thinking approach
- Capacity to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across various styles
- Experience with large-scale event planning and technology
- Willingness to travel to events 4-6 times annually
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The expected salary range is $60,000 to $65,000, based on skills, experience, education, and other factors.
