About the role
The Events Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and some external events that elevate the STACK brand and create exceptional experiences for employees, clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of departmental events, executive meetings, conferences, and internal programs
- Partner closely with leadership, marketing, and project teams to define event goals, scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Cook up with vendors, venues, caterers, production teams, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and service excellence
- Develop and manage event budgets and track expenses against established business objectives
- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes
- Cover logistics including travel, scheduling, registration, shipping, materials, and onsite support
- Gather feedback and post-event metrics to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders across different geographic regions
- Support the development of innovative event concepts and engagement opportunities that enhance the STACK brand experience
- Manage the development, ordering, inventory, and distribution of branded materials, signage, swag, and event collateral to ensure consistent brand representation across all events and programs
Requirements
This role requires strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years related work experience
- Proven experience planning and executing corporate events, conferences, or client-facing programs
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, timelines, and logistics
- Professional-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Asana
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and departments
