Event Manager

Responsibilities
- Host special events; manage a team of event hosts; oversee all setup of appropriate areas
- Work with the Sales staff and Operations team to create a seamless event experience
- Make personal connections with event contacts and ensure guests' needs are met and exceeded
- Ensure the completion of all event reporting and use guest feedback to improve guest satisfaction
- Forecast events and schedule staff appropriately; counsel and discipline staff as required
- Be available to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays
Requirements
- 1 year+ of management experience
- 2+ years of banquet captain experience
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field
- Broad knowledge of F&B and hospitality industry
- Experience in event planning and execution
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database software
- Knowledge of POS register systems

Pay
The pay rate for this position is $56k-$58K plus commission.
