Event Coordinator & Receptionist
About the role
We are seeking a professional and highly organized Event Coordinator and Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our client’s downtown Atlanta office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, welcoming guests and providing a professional first impression for all visitors to the office
- Coordinate and support meetings and events, including room setup, hospitality arrangements, and vendor coordination
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for clients, guests, and employees through attentive service and proactive support
- Collaborate closely with client staff and internal teams to support front office operations and daily workplace needs
- Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately and taking accurate messages when necessary
- Greet and announce visitors promptly in a friendly, professional manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception and lobby area at all times
- Provide general administrative and operational support, handling additional tasks as requested to support the workplace environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required: High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year work experience preferably as a receptionist or event coordinator
- Previous experience in a client service field preferred
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail
- Ability to handle complaints with professionalism, patience, and diplomacy
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to lift or move 35 lbs. or greater
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time
Pay
The Compensation range for this role is up to 24.00 USD per hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
