The hotel features a rooftop pool and bar with seamless indoor-outdoor integration, a bourbon bar, speakeasy, bowling alley, and a 20,000-square-foot urban food hall, Falls City Market, which serves as a hub for both guests and the community.
About the Role
The Event Concierge serves as the onsite liaison between meeting planners, Catering/Convention Service Managers, and all operational departments. This highly visible role is the central point for addressing special needs or requests for in-house groups, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist Convention Services and Catering Managers as the onsite liaison between Meeting Planners and operational departments.
- Communicate with the Event Concierge team and Managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a basic knowledge of hotel departments and their roles in fulfilling guests’ needs.
- Manage and assist all aspects of hotel events, including day-to-day coordination.
- Ensure meeting and conference arrangements meet specifications and create memorable experiences.
- Proactively resolve problems, keeping clients informed of event status and pending follow-ups.
- Multi-task and prioritize multiple requests while managing time effectively.
- Utilize Delphi software to generate necessary documents and implement changes.
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of hotel meeting spaces, group dynamics, and event details.
- Attend daily Banquet Event Order meetings and weekly resume meetings as needed.
- Recommend special outside services when required.
- Coordinate and attend pre-convention meetings prior to conferences when scheduled.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Department Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous event or hotel event experience preferred.
- Must be STAR certified.
- Must be Food Handler certified.
