Event Concierge

About the Property
Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center - Benchmark Hospitality is a high-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public, it features:
- 1,400 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites
- Nine restaurants and lounges including a Starbucks and Seattle's Best Coffee, and three sit-down restaurants
- 200,000 square feet of meeting space - Ballrooms, Amphitheater, and classrooms
- Fitness Center, jogging trails, and sports fields (all available to associates)
All clientele are professional. No weddings, holiday parties, school groups, or other social-type events. Located in Westlake, Texas - near Keller, Southlake, and Roanoke.
Responsibilities
- Ensure logistics are in place and executed for meetings
- Oversee Program “Turn” Activities and ensure smooth programmatic flow
- Provide Room and AV orientations as needed
- Assist with movement and placement of conference materials, along with pre- and post-event prepping, shipping, and storing
- Act as a resource, supporting the efforts of the Event & Meeting Managers
- Confirm break, meal, reception, and special event timing, as needed
- Ensure that all meeting changes are vetted, communicated, executed, and tracked for historical purposes
Requirements
- Previous guest or customer service experience required
- 1 year of administrative experience preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and PowerPoint experience desirable
- Knowledge of Event, Sales, and Catering systems preferred; Infor experience desirable
