Location: Lincoln, NE | Department: Dietary/Nutrition | Reports to: Administrator | Position Type: Full-Time, 12pm-8pm (hours may vary, on-call)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Evening Dietary Manager to join our team. The Dietary Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional care to our residents and help oversee our dietary staff. This position requires a passion for enhancing the dining experience and a commitment to promoting health and well-being through proper nutrition.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality nutritional care to residents.
- Manage and supervise dietary staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and dietary practices.
- Enhance the dining experience for residents.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to handle hot and cold food items.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting is a plus but not required (on-the-job training will be provided).
- Experience as a Cook and/or Dietary Aide in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
