Dietary Manager

About the Role

The Dietary Manager partners with the Dietitian to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department. Responsibilities include ensuring quality nutritional services are provided daily and maintaining the department in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Dietitian to plan, develop, budget, organize, implement, evaluate, manage, and direct the Dietary Department, its programs, and activities in alignment with patient care plans, guidelines, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ensure staffing, supplies, and equipment are satisfactorily maintained.
• Ensure all documentation is filed in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Dietary Manager (preferred).
