The Peaks El Dorado is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant apartment community. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily property operations
- Market and lease available units in full compliance with fair housing laws
- Maintain occupancy by managing waitlists, pre-leasing, and resident retention
- Oversee maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors
- Handle resident concerns with empathy and efficiency
- Collect rent and fees, manage financial records using OneSite software
- Prepare vacant units for rental, ensuring quality and timeliness
- Maintain accurate and organized unit files and resident communications
- Analyze operations and provide strategic recommendations to Regional Director
- Monitor expenses, manage property budgets, and enforce community policies
Requirements
- 2+ years of multi-family property management experience
- 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven leasing and renewal success
- LIHTC experience (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and OneSite (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- A customer-first mindset with a firm yet empathetic approach
- Ability to work well with diverse individuals and teams
