About the role

As a Dietary Manager, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee the foodservice operation, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available. You will train, manage, and supervise food service staff while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures for safe food handling, inventory, and storage to meet regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
• Follow the menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions on the proper form.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify received items, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure resident food preferences are known and followed.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's card.
• Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
