Estimator/Purchasing/ASR

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimator/Purchasing/ASR to join our team in Chicopee, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for packaging jobs based on project specifications and requirements.
• Cook up purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies needed for jobs.
• Process and manage orders received from the sales department, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain records of estimates, purchase orders, and job status updates.
• Aid in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to orders and purchasing.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating packaging jobs or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to process and manage multiple orders efficiently.
• Proficiency with relevant software tools and systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
