About the role

This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday from 7am – 4pm PT
• Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs

Compensation Package

$140,000 – $170,000/Year*
*The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate’s experience and the geographical location of this position.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of eight years construction industry experience
• Minimum of six years construction estimating experience
• Ability to manage multiple project estimates and deliverables for large-scale multifamily, mixed-use, or hospitality projects (300+ units)
• Thorough understanding of industry practices, estimating procedures, and the local construction market
• Proficient in construction and estimating techniques and software
• Proven track record of successfully working with operations teams, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and owners
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficient in effective communication and teamwork
• Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach
• Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work
• Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Manage design, bid, and project documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, and addenda
• Set up projects in estimating/bidding platforms and maintain bidder and vendor information
• Coordinate with subcontractors and trade partners to ensure bid coverage and clarify scopes
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bid Leveling Sheets to evaluate scope, pricing, and specifications
• Assist with schematic, DD, CD, GMP, and final construction budgets using market and historical data
• Analyze plans and specifications, write bid scopes, and support value engineering and competitive bidding
• Support contract negotiations, bidder feedback, and project handoff to Operations
• Participate in site visits and project coordination meetings to support quality and estimating accuracy
• Build strong subcontractor/vendor relationships and support team coaching and mentorship
