Job Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine necessary resources.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
• Sources and evaluates bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to support project needs.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing project proposals and presentations for stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Strong experience with ground-up construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience working across commercial sectors (education, municipal, retail, or mixed-use preferred).
• Proficiency in estimating software and strong Excel capability.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Driven, ambitious mindset with a desire for career progression.
