About the role

Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in budgeting and planning. This position supports construction teams and contributes to successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects.
• Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain an updated database of material and labor costs to ensure accurate pricing.
• Prepare bid proposals and participate in pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Track project budgets and provide updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all cost estimations.

Requirements

• Experience with cost estimation for multifamily construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost estimation and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates.

Pay

$130,000 to $150,000 per year.
