Assistant Project Manager – Multifamily Renovations AGM Management

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent renovation and capital improvement projects from scope development through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Solicit and evaluate bids from contractors and vendors, making award recommendations grounded in cost, quality, and scope compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, vendors, on-site property management staff, and ownership throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct site visits to verify work progress, quality, and contract compliance; review and process pay applications, change orders, and invoices
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues, escalating to ownership or leadership with clear recommendations when needed
- Maintain thorough project documentation and provide regular status updates, budget summaries, and close-out records to all stakeholders
- Maintain pricing and relationships with key suppliers
Qualifications
- Three to seven years of experience in construction project management, property management, or a closely related field
- A track record of successfully delivering renovation or capital improvement projects in multifamily or residential settings
- Organized enough to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different markets
- People-oriented enough to work effectively with contractors, vendors, residents, and internal stakeholders alike
- Comfortable reading and interpreting scopes of work, construction documents, and contractor bids
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically are required
