Estimating Coordinator

About the role

The Estimating Coordinator position at Traylor Industrial is responsible for preparing detailed estimates for construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update cost estimates for various construction projects
• Review and analyze project specifications and drawings
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates
• Manage and maintain cost databases and software tools
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on estimate progress and potential cost changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
• Experience with estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems
• Understanding of contract documents and legal requirements
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay
