About the role

Paul Mitchell The School Overland Park is seeking to hire an Esthetics Instructor to join their family. The ideal candidate will inspire and teach skincare to future professionals in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

• Take pride in students and create extraordinary learning experiences in the clinic classroom using objective-based education, mini classes, and learning centers.
• Teach students the science of healthy skin with hands-on professional techniques and skincare innovations and technologies.
• Prepare future professionals for their career as an Esthetician, including skin analysis, ingredient technology, facial & body waxing, makeup artistry, and prescriptive retailing.
• Teach business and guest service skills necessary for success.
• Work as a dedicated mentor to help students build a core foundation of knowledge and master advanced techniques.

Requirements

• A passion for educating, motivating, mentoring, and coaching all Future Professionals.
• A commitment to helping others succeed.
• Positive and effective communication skills, working well in a team environment.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a mastery of skincare.
• A Kansas Instructor License and relevant education.
• Previous experience as an Esthetics Instructor in a school setting (preferred).
