Art / Fashion Teacher

About the role

Red Bank Catholic High School seeks a creative, energetic, and student-centered Part-Time Art & Fashion Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Teach semester-based courses in Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, and Topics in Art.
• Explore the world of beauty, style, promotion, and consumer behavior in Fashion Marketing.
• Examine how basic functions of marketing are applied within the fashion industry in Fashion Marketing.
• Study the role of branding, merchandising, and social media marketing in the fashion industry in Fashion Merchandising.
• Examine how companies differentiate themselves and how merchandising decisions impact brand identity and consumer engagement in Fashion Merchandising.
• Develop foundational skills in artistic expression and visual communication in Topics in Art.

Requirements

• A background in Art, Fashion, Marketing, Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Teaching experience at the high school level preferred.
• A secondary art, fashion, or business certification preferred; however, candidates in the process of obtaining certification or actively working toward it will also be considered.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage students with varying levels of experience and interest.
• A commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic school community.

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for visual arts, design, fashion, branding, and marketing, while creating an engaging classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and student expression.

Pay

The salary range for this part-time position is $15,000 to $20,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
