Escrow Officer

What You’ll Do

• Maintain escrow process from beginning to end.
• Prepare Closing Disclosures and ATLA Settlement Statements according to client requirements and guidelines.
• Thoroughly review documents including sale purchase contracts, preliminary title reports, and lender instructions.
• Order required file documents such as HOA Certificates and Tax Certificates.
• Clear title defects by ordering appropriate releases as needed.
• Manage a large pipeline while maintaining time frame requirements and communicating with builders, buyers, lenders, and realtors.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of title/escrow company documents for closings.
• Complete closing and funding process by obtaining funding numbers, copying closing packages, disbursing funds via wire or check, and preparing lender packages.
• Filing recordable documents via e-recording and sending files for title policy preparation.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

About the Role

As an Escrow Officer, you will handle all duties related to the closing process while keeping all parties informed. This position is located onsite at our Parkway Title office in Scottsdale, AZ. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all escrow processes.
• Experience working on a builder account and handling escrow/closings.
• Knowledge of Title industry software, especially SoftPro.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Multitasking and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and detail-focused.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Escrow Officer, preferably in a builder environment.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with heavy volume.
• Active Notary Public certification, preferred.
