Responsibilities
- Administer the closing process, explain procedures, collect signatures, and ensure timely delivery of documents.
- Collaborate with Title and Closing personnel to prepare necessary documents.
- Communicate with realtors, lenders, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to resolve title-related issues.
- Verify accuracy of land-related documents and prepare rejection notices when necessary.
- Review contracts and confirm pre- and post-closing items, including payoffs, taxes, HOAs, insurance, and commissions.
- Prepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures for accuracy.
- Cultivate new business relationships with residential agents.
- Maintain knowledge of Texas title insurance requirements and regulatory changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to credit union and Title/Closing operations.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required; an associate's degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in title and closing services.
- Experience building residential business relationships.
- ALTA Best Practices experience preferred.
- Licensed Escrow Officer preferred (must obtain license within 6 months of hire).
- Thorough knowledge of title and closing processes and real estate industry standards.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage subordinate representatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and client-based systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, motivated team player with problem-solving skills.
Pay
$68,578 - $100,856 annually depending on experience and licenses.
Schedule
Monday ? Friday 8:00 a.m. ? 5:00 p.m.
