About the role
The ERP Administrator will collaborate with the current Business Central team to optimize system performance, streamline processes, and enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the ERP system, including user access, security settings, and system configurations to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
- Work with ERP system users and management to determine appropriate system configuration.
- Cook with external vendors and consultants for system integrations, upgrades, and support.
- Collaborate with the ERP teams to plan, test, and execute new updates, patches, customizations and migrations of ERP systems before implementing in a production environment.
- Design and maintain automated workflow processes based on thorough understanding of business practices and procedures.
- Aid in developing and maintaining SQL, Power BI, & Jet Reports to drive data-driven decisions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Support manufacturing, inventory, warehouse, purchasing, and financial operations by coordinating with management to ensure accurate data, efficient processes, and strong user adoption.
- Create and manage a Business Central help desk to efficiently support users.
- Conduct analysis and troubleshooting of ERP system issues reported by end users.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and new features.
- Perform other core ERP duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Experience with EDI, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field is preferred.
