Role: The Registrar supports patient care by accurately capturing demographic and insurance information, scheduling procedures, securing authorizations, and maintaining organized patient records. Responsibilities: Interact with patients and families to provide courteous assistance and address inquiries.Schedule procedures based on physician availability and staffing needs.Pre-register patients by collecting demographic details and verifying insurance eligibility.Obtain necessary authorizations and document patient financial responsibilities.Communicate operative reports to physicians and prepare medical charts for upcoming procedures.Maintain and organize medical records, respond to record requests promptly.Answer phone calls professionally and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications & Skills: 0-2 years in healthcare or customer service, strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, proficiency with registration and verification systems, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
