ER Registered Nurse (Full-Time Days)

About the Role

This role involves providing direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical skills
• Accurately document patient information and monitor physiological signs
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient confidentiality
• Collect laboratory samples, perform tests, and adhere to infection control protocols
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and standards
• Participate in care assessment, planning, and evaluation
• Perform quality assessment activities and attend staff meetings

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred
• Current RN license without sanctions
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in ER or comparable setting
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; TNCC preferred
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills

Additional Requirements

For Pennsylvania candidates: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances or ability to obtain prior to employment.
