ER Registered Nurse (Full-Time Days)

About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a small-format emergency hospital, focusing on patient assessment, planning, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Delivering age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Accurately documenting patient information and monitoring physiological signs
• Following physician orders and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Collecting lab samples, performing tests, and adhering to infection control protocols
• Managing admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
• Assisting with diagnostic and treatment procedures and assembling necessary equipment
• Participating in care assessment, planning, and evaluation processes
• Completing quality assessments and attending staff meetings

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure in the relevant state without sanctions
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS from the American Heart Association
• Fluency in English, with good communication skills
