About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Room position in a small-format hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate patient care.
- Document medical records accurately and legibly.
- Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms, and behaviors.
- Follow physician orders and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Collect laboratory samples, perform tests, and adhere to infection control standards.
- Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
- Assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures and assemble necessary equipment.
- Participate in care evaluation, quality assessment activities, and team meetings.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred).
- Current RN licensure without sanctions.
- At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- For Pennsylvania candidates, background clearances are required or must be obtained.
