ER Registered Nurse (Full-Time Days)

About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive emergency nursing care, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient treatment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering age-specific and specialty-appropriate care
• Documenting accurately
• Monitoring physiological signs
• Following physician orders
• Collecting laboratory samples
• Adhering to infection control protocols
• Managing admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
• Assembling equipment
• Assisting with diagnostic or treatment procedures
• Participating in quality assessment activities

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred)
• Current RN licensure
• Minimum of two years of ER or similar experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association
• Preferred certifications: ENPC or TNCC
• Must meet specific background clearance requirements, including child abuse and criminal history checks where applicable
