Equipment Design Senior Engineer - Robotics

About the role

The Electrical Design Robotics position focuses on delivering high-quality robotic hardware, software, and safety designs to support the introduction of new models and technologies across manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading project schedules
• Managing resources
• Ensuring design standards are met for medium to high complexity projects
• Mentorship of associates
• Leading design reviews
• Implementing robotic processes
• Evaluating robot systems
• Conducting simulation studies to optimize configurations and programming

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Robot CAD, and simulation tools

Work Environment & Responsibilities

• Work primarily in an office setting with some time on the manufacturing floor
• Support robot installations across North America, including occasional weekend work
• Perform troubleshooting and hands-on work in manufacturing environments and vendor sites
