Equipment Design Senior Engineer - Robotics

Role Overview The Electrical Design Robotics role focuses on delivering high-quality robotic hardware, software, and safety designs to support new model introductions across manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities Lead creation of project schedules, resource management, and ensure timely delivery of robotic systems for medium to large projects.Mentor and review work of associates to foster technical growth and maintain design standards.Implement robotic designs for new models, including new machines and processes.Monitor project progress against QCDMS metrics, propose corrective actions, and lead design reviews.Apply new robotic processes, evaluate robot systems, and conduct configuration, programming, and simulation tasks.Perform robot system evaluations and buyoffs at vendor sites and within the organization. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.At least 5 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Robot CAD, and simulation tools. Working Conditions Work involves a mix of office and manufacturing environments, supporting robot installations across North America, with physical troubleshooting and hands-on work on the plant floor.
