Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine seeks a board-certified/eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology (epilepsy track) to join the Department of Neurology.
About the role
- Join a department of 37 full-time physicians and 19 advanced practice providers
- Team of fellowship-trained and experienced epileptologists and epilepsy neurosurgeons
- NAEC Level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Center with an ABRET accredited EEG Lab providing the full gamut of epilepsy and EEG services and collaboration with Neurosurgery
- Participation in medical student, resident, and fellow education

- Appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level, dependent on qualifications
Responsibilities
- Clinical expertise in epilepsy, with interest in developing a focus area (e.g., surgical epilepsy program, intra-operative monitoring, continuous EEG monitoring, or outpatient epilepsy)
- Pharmacological management of epilepsy
- Video-EEG monitoring, intracranial monitoring, and neurostimulation
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in Pennsylvania and obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
Requirements
- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
- Board-certified/eligible in Neurology with completion of an Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology (epilepsy track) fellowship
- Board-certified/eligible in Epilepsy preferred
